5-STEPS TO CREATE A POWERFUL RESUME
Why do only 1 in 1,470 resumes submitted lead to a job opportunity?
Is it due to misspellings, too many pages, colored paper or a tacky font? NO!
The reason why the overwhelming majority of resumes don't produce results is that they poorly communicate the results you are capable of producing for the company.
Computer programs and school resource centers often show us how to plug information under the stereotypical headings - objective, work experience, education, extracurricular, etc. - however, they don't show us how to create exciting statements that directly communicate why we meet the job requirements and why we would be an asset to the company.

FIND YOUR PASSION AND YOU WILL FIND A JOB - FREE ACTIVITY
Do you know the #1 reason why students are turned down for jobs?
It's not because they lack specific skills or have too many 'C' grades. The reason is because they lack focus. Employers know that Generation Y (your generation) is famous for job hoping. Job hoping costs companies hundreds of thousands of dollars in wasted training every year. Employers want applicants who know exactly what they are looking for in a career.
Fortune Magazine did a study proving that employees who are passionate about their work are 127 times more productive. Who would you want to hire, a student who is fired up about the job opportunity or a student who has sent their resume to a few dozen companies hoping one would bite?
The best way to increase your odds of getting hired and finding a job you truly enjoy is to start with what fires you up. What are you passionate about? ... more >>>
